This whole thing sounds exactly like the guy who claimed he made a cold-fusion car a few years back which used "resonant frequencies" to break apart the water molecules in his car so that he used less energy to make the hydrogen than the hydrogen would generate, thus creating an efficiency greater than 100%, so the car could run forever just by putting a hose from the exhaust pipe into the fuel tank. Needless to say when the actual scientists showed up the laws of physics kicked in and his car didn't seem to work for the TV cameras.
I remember I saw on the news a couple months back some reporters completely going ga-ga over this invention a guy made where you simply put in water and out came hydrogen, no need to plug it in even. Infinite efficiency! There was just this tiny detail where you had to send it in every couple of months. I'm sure they weren't replacing the battery or charging it up again though, so it's still amazing! Of course the reporter didn't even pick up on this or even think to ask any questions (one wonders if modern reporters even can think...).
RET is claiming the same thing as cold fusion, they even said so on their webpage:
"The RET process GENERATES ITS OWN ELECTRICITY whereas electrolysis must obtain electrical energy from external sources, such as fossil fuels, to operate"
What they are saying here, whether they realize it or not, is the a single glass of water could power the entire Earth if the RET machine could cycle through it fast enough, because over time the amount of energy in the water over time is infinite. Forgive me if I have my misgivings.
This entire topic is something that fascinates me, and I do quite a fair share of reading about it, and so far I've learned magic-fairy-dust solutions like this are either scams, or they always involve some hidden detail that's "proprietary information". If this changes the world, wonderful. But don't expect me to be investing any money in it until then.
