I got a note from the TED (Technology, Entertainment and Design) Conference. They recently recorded Al Gore's new slide show. It's quite well done and there's a lot of interesting stuff in there. Some things that I think are interesting:
Al Gore gives an interesting argument as to why increased solar activity is not influencing climate change
He talks about a European supergrid using high voltage DC lines
He says that although there is more consensus in the US about man made climate change, there's not a sense of urgency
He's trying to promote climate change as a huge opportunity for our generation, saying that it's not very often that a generation is able to have so much influence on the future of the world like we are able to do now
